The German Aerospace Congress (DLRK) 2021 will take place in a hybrid format, on site in Bremen and online. The German Aerospace Society (DGLR) invites experts and young professionals from August 31 to September 2, 2021 for networking and scientific exchange in the research and technology center ECOMAT (Center for Eco-efficient Materials & Technologies) and on the virtual congress platform.

On site, the guests will speak and discuss future topics in aerospace such as climate-neutral aviation, alternative fuels, and future space missions. For the "Plenary Day", among others, DGLR President Prof. Rolf Henke, Thomas Jarzombek, Coordinator of the Federal Government for Aerospace, Arndt Schoenemann, CEO of the German Air Traffic Control (DFS), OHB CEO Marco Fuchs, and the technical department MTU Aero Engines board member, Lars Wagner, has already agreed. ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti and ESA astronaut Dr. Matthias Maurer, who will set off for the International Space Station ISS for the first time in the fall of 2021 as part of his “Cosmic Kiss” mission, are invited to contribute. From September 1st to September 2nd (congress days 2 and 3) the DLRK will be continued as a virtual scientific conference. The participants can expect a varied program of lectures as usual in various virtual meeting rooms with a mixture of recorded expert lectures and exciting live discussions.
